Prices for renting and buying real estate have increased significantly in Montenegro

Real estate rental prices have increased significantly in Montenegro

Property rental prices in Montenegro have risen by 50 percent due to higher demand since the start of the special operation in Ukraine, and the price of property sales is rising due to rising prices for building materials, reports RTCG.

The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Montenegro reports that a significant jump in prices for all building materials, which was affected by market disruptions, has led to rising apartment prices.

On the other hand, as they explained, citizens who have money want to protect their value from apparent inflation by buying property, so in recent months there has been an increased demand for property.

The agencies, however, say that Ukrainians rent but do not buy real estate. This has significantly increased the cost of renting apartments in Montenegro up to 50 percent.
