Deputies of the Parliament of Montenegro submitted to the Parliament bill about digital nomads and freelancers.
Its purpose is to regulate their legal status in Montenegro by amending foreignerswho work for a foreign company not registered in Montenegro or are an entrepreneur (the so-called digital nomads).
The proposed amendments state that the digital nomad will be allowed to enter Montenegro on the basis of a long-term visa (D visa), after which he can apply for a temporary residence permit for up to two years. A prerequisite will be remote work for a foreign company not registered in Montenegro.
