The economic growth of Montenegro in the first quarter amounted to 7,2%

According to the preliminary data of the statistical office Monstate, the gross domestic product (GDP) of Montenegro grew by 7,2 percent in the first quarter of this year.

According to preliminary data, GDP in the first quarter amounted to 1,03 billion euros, while for the same period last year it was 875,3 million euros.

Average economic growth in the countries of the European Union (EU) was 5,6 percent.

According to the report, the highest economic growth among European countries in the first quarter was recorded in Portugal with 11,1 percent, Ireland 11 percent and Slovenia 9,8 percent.

Of neighboring countries, economic growth in Croatia was 4,4 percent, in Serbia 2,4 percent, and in northern Macedonia XNUMX percent.
