Rent in Montenegro has doubled over the past year

It is becoming increasingly difficult for families who rent an apartment to pay for it, as rent in Montenegro is now twice as high as last year. Apartment owners took advantage of the arrival of Russians and Ukrainians and raised prices.

A sharp rise in rental prices in the capital and on the coast.

A year ago, the average price of a one-room apartment in the center of Podgorica was 350 euros, now prices range from 600 to 700 euros. In other parts of the city, the price jump is not so big. In Tivat, Budva and Kotor, you can rent a one-room apartment from 500 to 700 euros.

Although it is difficult to predict, many real estate agents count them.that prices for renting apartments will not increase in the near future.
