Prices for renting apartments in Montenegro have reached unprecedented heights

Last year broke records for prices for apartment rental. At the end of 2022, the average cost of renting a studio apartment in Podgorica was 350 euros, while prices for renting a one-room apartment reached a record 900 euros. And this is happening in a country where the average salary is just over 700 euros.

Thus, apartments near Capital Plaza and in the area of the BIG Fashion shopping center have a higher price than the market average. It is difficult to find a one-bedroom apartment for less than €500, while more luxuriously equipped apartments are rented at prices ranging from 600 to 700 euros. A two-bedroom apartment costs between 450 and 1000 euros, depending on the location and level of equipment. On average, they cost about 700 euros.

Some Experts believethat the real “cooling down” of high prices for real estate rental will occur only in 2024.
