In which sectors and municipalities of Montenegro the average salary is above 1000 euros

average salary in January without taxes and contributions in Montenegro amounted to 757 euros. The highest average wages in the previous month were received by employees of the financial and insurance sectors - 1 euros, as well as electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning - 198 euros.

On the other hand, the lowest average wages in January were in the manufacturing sectors, 603 euros, and in administrative support services, 600 euros. Of the 25 municipalities in Montenegro, the highest average salary in January was in Tivat at 926 euros and Zeta 841 euros, and the lowest in Ulcinj 635 and Tuzi 626 euros, according to the latest data published by the Statistical Office Monstat.

Mining and quarry workers received 942 euros, health care and social protection 934 euros, real estate transactions 919 euros, information and communication 896 euros, education 787 euros and public administration and defense, compulsory social insurance 782 euros.

Below average wages were recorded in the sectors of transport and storage - 725 euros, construction - 723, agriculture, forestry and fishing - 716, arts, entertainment and recreation - 692, accommodation and food services - 683, water supply; wastewater management, process control; garbage collection and similar activities - 672, other service activities - 654,
professional, scientific and technical activities - 645 and wholesale and retail trade; repair of cars and motorcycles - 626 euros.

As for the municipalities, apart from Tivat and Zeta, the January salary was higher than the national average, which is 757 euros, only in Kotor - 782 euros, Podgorica - 780, Pljevlja - 773 and Cetinje - 772 euros, according to Monstat data.
