The Prime Minister of Montenegro, Dritan Abazovic, together with the Martin Leitner company, which is building the Kotor-Lovcen cable car, объявил that an agreement has been reached on the official opening of the cable car on July 13 this year.
“In June, we will have test drives, and the opening ceremony will be connected with our national holiday,” Abazovich said at a government meeting.
The first stone of the cable car was laid last year, on the Statehood Day of Montenegro.
Cableway will have a length of 3918 meters, a capacity of 1000 passengers per hour and 40 gondolas, and a travel time of 11 minutes. The starting point is planned in Kotor and the end point in Lovcen.
