Montenegro is implementing 13 infrastructure projects simultaneously

Montenegro is carrying out a large-scale modernization of its transport network: currently, the country is actively implementing 13 major infrastructure projects worth more than 150 million euros. Among them are the construction of the Tivat-Jaz section, work on the Bar-Krute, Niksic-Pluzine highways, the reconstruction of the Djurdjevic Bridge and the elimination of a landslide on the Mojkovac-Tara highway.

One of the key areas is preparation for the second phase of construction of the Mateševo – Andrijevice highway. Already 10 international companies have applied to participate in the project, the start of which is planned for the end of 2025. In addition, the design of the entire highway is underway Bar - Bolyare.

Emphasis given to solution to the coastal transport problems. Thus, the route Tivat - Jaz serves more than 20 cars daily, and almost twice as many in the summer. Its reconstruction will be completed by the next tourist season.

These projects not only improve transport accessibility, but also open up opportunities for investment, job creation and regional development of the country.
