Montenegrin company Carine, known for its investments in the hotel sector of the Adriatic coast, has begun the implementation of the largest project in its history - the construction the largest hotel in Montenegro and the regionA new five-star resort is being built in Baoshichah, on the coast of the Herceg Novi Riviera, and should welcome its first guests already in june year 2026.

The total cost of investment is estimated at 80 million euros, and the resort will become the company's flagship and a new symbol of modern Montenegrin tourism.

A luxury resort overlooking the Bay of Kotor

Project in Baosici provides for construction of a hotel for more than 800 rooms, which makes it the largest not only in Montenegro, but also on the entire Adriatic coast. Almost 80% of the rooms will have a direct view of the Bay of Kotor, one of the most picturesque places in the Mediterranean.

The resort's infrastructure will meet high-class international standards. Guests can expect five restaurants, several bars, a spacious spa center, indoor and outdoor swimming poolscongress center and event hallsThe complex will house playgrounds, play areas and an indoor park, which makes the hotel especially attractive for family holidays.

"Special attention has been paid to the comfort of families and our youngest guests. The project features spacious play areas and recreation areas that combine nature and modern design," said Carine's CEO. Vladimir Popovich, in an interview for the portal eGateway.

In addition, the hotel will become an important facility for business tourism: guests will have at their disposal multifunctional conference hall with an area of ​​1000 m², modern technical equipment and underground parking.

Construction progress and implementation timeframes

According to Popovich, construction is proceeding at an accelerated pace. Rough construction work completed in just 12 months, which was a remarkable achievement for a project of this scale. Work is currently underway interior and finishing works, the facade is being installed and the area is being landscaped.

"Everything is going according to plan, and we are confident that the new resort will fully open its doors to its first guests as early as June 2026. Installation of the façade structures is currently being completed, after which interior design will begin," the company's director emphasized.

Once completed, the hotel will create about 400 new jobs, which will give a powerful impetus to the development of tourism and the economy of Herceg Novi.

The second direction: projects in Djenovici and Kumbor

In addition to the resort in Baošići, Carine is simultaneously developing another major project in neighboring villages Djenovici and KumborHere the company invests additional 80 million euros into the creation mixed-use complex about 75 m².

The project will be implemented in stages - in three phase, each of which will be fully functional upon completion. The first phase will cover an area of ​​20,000 m² and is scheduled for completion by end of 2027, and the whole complex is to 2031 year.

The complex will unite hotel buildings, residential residences and apartments, offered both for permanent residence and in the format time-share — a shared ownership model that is gaining popularity among foreign investors. The sale will include one-, two- and three-room apartments, as well as commercial premises and infrastructure facilities.
