Montenegrin President Milo Djukanovic and his wife Lydia attended a reception hosted by US President Donald Trump and his wife Melania for heads of state and government. The 74th session of the UN General Assembly has opened in New York.
Dzhukanovich is in the United States on an official visit. He took part in the general debate of the UN General Assembly.
“Montenegro is a responsible neighbor and an important factor in regional stability in the Western Balkans. The country's secure future is seen only in full integration with the European Union. A united Europe is a prerequisite for its global competitiveness, ”said the head of the Montenegrin state.
During the visit, Milo Djukanovic held a meeting with representatives of the Montenegrin diaspora, organized by the Consulate General of the country in New York.
