Temporary objects in the coastal zone will be demolished before the end of June

Within four months, all facilities in the coastal area not planned by the Temporary Maintenance Program will be demolished by the Budva-based Del Mar.

Temporary coffee houses and restaurants, beach and outdoor bars with or without concrete foundations, as well as reinforced concrete foundations and walls will be demolished.

Recall that the Ministry of Sustainable Development and Tourism approved the Program of temporary structures in the marine zone for the period from 2019 to 2023. According to this document, temporary structures will not be allowed for construction on embankments in the future, as urban areas are overloaded.

The implementation of the program is most visible in Budva. Last year, 6 iconic outdoor discos, 14 fast foods and waterfront shops near the post office were demolished here. In the near future, the authorities are planning to modernize the embankment area for local residents and tourists.
