Montenegro has remained the only country in Europe where so far no cases of infection with the coronavirus COVID-19 have been recorded. This was stated by Igor Galich, an epidemiologist at the Institute of Public Health of Montenegro.
According to him, Montenegrin departments are ready for the possible detection of coronavirus. Currently, 392 residents of the country remain under observation.
“Diagnosis for coronavirus takes two to three hours, so the results become known quickly enough,” Galich added.
According to the latest data, 126 cases of COVID-631 infection were confirmed in the world, 19 patients died. As reported Lenta.tu, the main part of the infected and dead is in mainland China, the second largest in number is Italy.
An outbreak of COVID-19 disease caused by a new type of coronavirus was first reported in late December 2019 in Wuhan, China. Its symptoms are fever, fatigue and cough with sputum. In addition to China, cases were detected in more than 100 countries of the world.
