The cost of construction work in Montenegro last year amounted to 881 million euros, which is 9,9% more than in 2018, according to Monstat.
Of the total cost of construction work, the companies realized the value of 809,1 million euros, which is a share of 91,8%. In the household sector, a value of 71,9 million euros or 8,2% of the total cost of construction work was realized, the report said.
Last year, 3,15 thousand apartments with a useful area of 216,97 thousand square meters were commissioned. The number of residential buildings built by companies was about 1,16 thousand, and in the household sector, almost two thousand residential buildings were built.
According to statistics, the study included companies with five or more employees in the field of construction, as well as units that perform construction work.
The annual survey of construction activity is calculated on the basis of a sample that includes all large and medium-sized companies, and small ones are selected by a random sample, said Monstat
The cost of construction work includes all installed building materials and work performed.
