The Institute of Marine Biology conducted its third water quality test this season. Samples were taken on July 1 and 2 in 110 recreation areas. They rated 90% of the beaches excellent.
On the Barska Riviera, all 15 beaches are assigned fives. On the Ulcinj Riviera, only the Borova Shuma recreation area was rated satisfactory. Water on the other 17 high quality beaches.
On the Budva Riviera, 28 recreation areas received five. Beaches Kamenovo, Becici 05 (near the restaurants Stefan and Papillon), Becici 03 (near the Church of St. Apostle Thomas) and Slovenska Beach 05 (opposite the former Mogren Stadium) were awarded four.
On the Tivat Riviera, all recreation areas were rated excellent. In the municipality of Kotor, 11 beaches are assigned fives. The four received recreation areas "Benovo", "Sveti-Stasie", "Orahovac". The Prcanj Beach was awarded a satisfactory rating.
On the Riviera of Herceg Novi, 19 recreation areas passed the exam perfectly. The triples are assigned to the beach in the village of Bijela and the beach "Novosadsky" (Novosadsko kupaliste) in Herceg Novi.
