The beginning of the school year in Montenegro is postponed to October 1

On the recommendation of the Institute of Public Health, the beginning of the new academic year in Montenegro is postponed to October 1. According to the Ministry of Education of the country, this decision will also affect kindergartens.

As a reminder, earlier the Ministry of Education stated that the beginning of the school year is scheduled for September 1.

The decision to postpone the start of the new school year was made solely for the purpose of protecting children's health following consultations with representatives of specialized institutions - the Ministry of Health, the Institute of Public Health, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Economics and the Institute of Education.
