The total cost of the minimum consumer basket in August this year was 641,8 euros. This is reported by the Statistical Office MONSTAT.
Expenditures on food and non-alcoholic beverages amounted to 277,4 euros, while expenditures on non-food products and services - 364,4 euros.
“The total cost of the minimum consumer basket in August 2020 compared to July 2020 increased by 0,1 percent. Spending on food and non-alcoholic beverages in August increased by 0,1 percent compared to July. While spending on non-food products and services increased by 0,1 percent compared to July, ”MONSTAT said.
