Montenegro supported the EU declaration on the arrest of Protasevich

Montenegro supports EU declaration on forced re-routing of airline's flights Ryanair... This is reported by the Montenegrin news agency RTCG.

This declaration was adopted on May 24, when the Belarusian authorities landed a Ryanair plane in Minsk, under the pretext that a bomb had been found on board. After that, law enforcement agencies detained Roman Protasevich, one of the founders of the Nexta Telegram channel (recognized as extremist in Belarus).

The EU declaration states that this act is another obvious attempt by the Belarusian authorities to oppress the opposition. The EU calls for the immediate release of Protasevich and an international investigation into the incident.
