According to the statistical office, in 2020 there were 11 companies with foreign capital in Montenegro. Of the total, the largest part of foreign companies belongs to businessmen from Turkey - 280, or 3 percent.
Most of the companies were opened on the Montenegrin coast, especially in Budva, but also in the capital Podgorica.
Increasing interest of Turkish businessmen in investing to Montenegro has been recorded in recent years, especially after Montenegro's membership in NATO.
