New epidemiological measures in Montenegro on September 25

The Montenegrin government has adopted new epidemiological measures that will be in effect from September 25 to October 8. This was reported on yesterday's press conference Director of the Institute of Public Health Igor Galich. Some of the measures in force from today are that up to 50 people will be allowed to participate in weddings and celebrations, who must have COVID certificates, live music will be allowed indoors, and from October 9, supermarkets and hypermarkets will be allowed to enter. only with a certificate of vaccination.

Here are the measures that are applied from today:

  1. National digital certificate of vaccination is issued immediately after the second dose of vaccine and is valid from this moment. No more waiting 14 days after full vaccinations.
  2. In addition to entering shopping malls and food service interiors, a national digital certificate of vaccination is a prerequisite for entering:
  • business centers;
  • office buildings with more than three businesses;
  • facilities engaged in the sale of non-food products, the area of ​​which exceeds 1 square meters.

It is the responsibility of the owners, visitors and managers of these facilities to monitor and designate a person responsible for enforcing these measures.

  1. The number of persons attending weddings and other private celebrations organized in catering establishments, with a national digital certificate of vaccination, is limited to 50. And also if the ceremony is held on a terrace, in a garden or inside a catering facility.
  2. It is allowed to perform live music in the premises of catering establishments, provided that all employees, musicians and guests have a national digital certificate of vaccination.

We remind you that the national digital certificate of vaccination is only valid if at least one of the conditions is met:

1) the person has been fully vaccinated, regardless of how many days have passed since the revaccination;

2) the presence of a negative PCR test no older than 72 hours or a positive one made at least 14 and no more than 180 days ago;

3) the presence of a negative rapid test for antigens not older than 48 hours.

It is not required to fulfill the above conditions for the following categories:

- Children under 18 years old.
- All travelers who have spent the last 15 days in one of these countries: Serbia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Albania and North Macedonia.
