5G Technology Montenegro is due to be commercially operational by the end of 2022 and an enabling environment needs to be created and work continues at all levels to ensure its full implementation. This was announced at the panel discussion "5G in Montenegro: Why are milliseconds important?" Crnogorski Telekom.
Dusan Banovic, director of the digital transformation sector at Crnogorski Telekom, recalled that the company was the first in Montenegro to successfully test a 5G network in real conditions in Bijelo Polje and Berane.
“We started, our goal is to educate the public with as many concrete examples as possible, in order to eliminate all doubts that citizens have, on the other hand, in order to present all the benefits and benefits for society that 5G will bring, because, as well as point out the need additional work at all levels to ensure full implementation of 5G technology in the next 5, 10, 15 years, ”said Banovich.
