Last week, the Israeli company BIG shopping Centers fulfilled all the conditions for the official purchase of the Delta City Podgorica shopping center in full ownership.
According to the company, the purchase of Delta City Podgorica is their ticket to Montenegro, “and only the beginning of our support and investment in the country.”
“This transaction is in line with our strategy, which we announced last year, to continue developing the company in the Balkans. BIG will bring new experiences to its customers through regular and dynamic events throughout the year, as well as numerous new stores and brands,” said Lev Weiss, CEO of BIG CEE.
Delta City Podgorica covers an area of 24 square meters with 500% occupancy and is the largest shopping center in Montenegro.
Bar, Kotor and Niksic will also get their own shopping center
After purchasing the Delta City shopping center, the Israeli company BIG announced the expansion of business in Bar, Kotor и Niksice. Prime Minister Dritan Abazovic announced this on your Twitter account.
“Following the purchase of Delta City, BIG announced the expansion of its business in Bar, Kotor and Niksic. In the next three years, we expect to open more than a thousand new jobs,” Abazovich wrote on Twitter.
He said that Montenegro is open to investors with political messages.
“We are implementing the program, we are creating new value. Montenegro is a country of opportunities,” Abazovic added.
