In Montenegro there will be new banknotes of 100 and 200 euros

New banknotes will be easier to fit in citizens' wallets, notes Euronews. And ATMs will be able to process them faster.

The length of the banknotes is the same. The color has not changed either: the 100 euro note remained greenish, and the 200 euro note remains yellowish brown. However, the new money comes with additional security features that only a machine can read.

On the right side of the bill is a large Euro symbol, an architectural motif and a holographic image of the heroine of ancient Greek myths of Europe - the daughter of the Phoenician king Agenor.

The Central Bank of Montenegro emphasized that the banknotes of 100 and 200 euros of the previous series will continue to be in circulation.
