This year, the flight programs of tour operators to Montenegro started in early June and will last until the end of September (less often - October). All market participants note an increase in demand this season - plus 10-15% compared to last year.
In the ranking of the most popular destinations in the summer of 2019, Montenegro entered the top 10, beating Croatia, the participant of the last year rating, reports ATOR.
“At the beginning of the 2019 season, sales in the direction started very well as part of the Early Booking promotion. Relative to last year, sales figures increased significantly. Today, the pace of sales is in accordance with the planned volumes, ”the ANEX Tour company notes.
Intourist associates the growth in demand partly with the decline that occurred last year in connection with the holding of the World Cup in Russia. “The volume of bookings on the dates of the championship this year exceed the volumes of the previous year by 61%. We attribute this growth to the fact that last year many tourists stayed at home, ”the company’s press service explained.
Most companies this year retained last year's routes and transportation volumes to Montenegro. They increased at the tour operator TUI Russia, the company "PAX" increased its volume by 30%.
The main trend in the direction of Montenegro in the season of 2019 among Biblio-Globus tourists is an increase in the duration of the tour and the choice of hotels of a higher category. If last year tourists preferred a tour for 7 nights to a 2-3 * hotel, then this year the most popular tours for 10-14 nights to a 4-5 * hotel are the most popular.
