€ 500 million to be invested in Porto Montenegro project in Tivat

To date, about 500 million euros have been invested in Porto Montenegro. “In the next 10 years, we will invest the same amount to build new facilities and develop about half of the remaining land of Arsenal,” said Danilo Kalezic, PR representative of Adriatic Marinas, which is implementing the project.

“We have developed only 30% of the territory of the former military shipyard“ Arsenal ”, which occupies 24 hectares,” added Kalezic.

Adriatic Marinas CEO David Margason stressed that the company's goal is to make Montenegro one of the most famous maritime hubs for super and mega yachts in the world. This season, the occupancy rate of the marina in Tivat is 11,5% higher than a year earlier.

“All berths for yachts shorter than 30 meters were occupied. We hope to surpass last year's results in accommodating vessels over 30 m in length. We will supplement our proposal with a new yacht service center in the port of Bijela, which is also located in the Boka Kotorska Bay, ”Margason said.
