The revenues of the tourism industry in Montenegro in July 2020 amounted to only about 10 million euros, according to the agency Tanjug. In July last year, they amounted to 280 million.
Also last month, not only the total number of tourists decreased, but also the number of overnight stays per tourist. This year the figure has dropped to 4 nights (up from 6 last year). In addition, the average daily spending of tourists has decreased - from 77 to 50 euros.
