The construction of the bridge over the Moraca River as part of the South-West Bypass Road is progressing according to plan, with the completion deadline next April.

The construction of the 3,34-kilometer South-West bypass consists of three phases with a total cost of around 16 million euros, making it the largest infrastructure road project in the capital.

“Construction of the southwest bypass road began in August 2018. It represents the carriageway of the main route network connecting the main road Podgorica-Cetinje with the road Podgorica-Petrovac. Thus, Podgorica will propose an alternative route through the city, since transit will greatly facilitate the movement of transport, ”the capital said in a statement.
