The average pension in August 2020 was EUR 290,24. This was announced by Yadranka Milosevic, director of the Pension and Disability Insurance Fund.
As for the budget deficit of the Fund, the budget rebalancing increased it to 32,01%. In absolute terms, this amounts to 143,52 million euros.
The fund said the current coronavirus situation has not affected either the income of the elderly or the exercise of pension and disability insurance rights.
