Serbia will continue construction of a road to Montenegro

Serbia will complete the construction of a further 30,9 km of the road section from Prelina to Pozega this year, which is part of the Belgrade-Bar corridor (Corridor 11), according to government statements.

“By the end of the year, we must and can complete the most difficult section of the Miloš Veliki highway from Preljine to Požege,” said Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure Tomislav Momirović while inspecting the work on Laz.

"We can only do this if we work in three shifts, and we do it because we work with the best Chinese partners," added Momirovich.

He inspected the work on the most critical part of the thirty-kilometer section, on which two tunnel pipes with a length of 2800 meters will be built. According to local media reports, Momirovic announced that traffic in the direction from Cacak (Serbia) to Sveti Nikola should be stopped.
