Montenegro tightened quarantine measures

New quarantine measures will come into force in Montenegro on February 25. Special anti-epidemic measures, previously adopted for the municipalities of Budva and Tivat, now also valid for Herceg Novi. The new measures will be in effect over the next 15 days. This was announced by the director of the Institute of Public Health of Montenegro Igor Galich.

Countrywide quarantine measures:

  1. The opening hours of restaurants, cafes and shops are from 7:00 to 18:00.
  2. Curfew from 21:00 to 5:00. An exception is walking pets, but no more than 60 minutes a day.
  3. Intercity traffic is prohibited on weekends.
  4. Excursions, live music performances, children's playrooms, Ferris wheels and amusement parks are prohibited.
  5. Restaurants in Podgorica, Danilovgrad, Cetinje, Niksic, Ulcinj, Kotor, Danilovgrad, Tuzi and Bar are closed.

    Important: there is also a ban on the sale of take-away coffee in these municipalities and the operation of vending machines.

Quarantine measures for Budva, Tivat and Herceg Novi:

  1. The work of restaurants, cafes, shopping centers, non-food stores, hairdressers and gyms is prohibited.
  2. It is forbidden to go to the beach and walk in parks, squares, etc.
  3. Kindergartens and schools are switching to online learning.
  4. Outdoor and indoor meetings are prohibited.
  5. Playgrounds and outdoor gyms are closed.
  6. A ban on long-distance movement without good reason, including weekdays and weekends. However, there is no such ban for Herceg Novi.

Entry rules to Montenegro

Mandatory PCR test no older than 72 hours is required for entry from Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Israel, India, Bahrain, Lebanon, South Africa, Brazil, USA, Latvia, Estonia, Lithuania, Malta, France, Spain, Portugal, Netherlands, Ireland, Belgium , Denmark, Czech Republic.

On February 24, San Marino, Luxembourg, Andorra, Slovakia, Bulgaria and Botswana were added to this list.

For entry from other countries No PCR test is required.

Registration for vaccination
