Montenegro received 663 million euros of investments last year

Last year, despite the coronavirus pandemic, Montenegro received € 663 million of foreign direct investment (FDI). During the same period, the outflow amounted to € 195,5 million.

Of course, NATO countries invested the most money in Montenegro - 230 million euros.

Separately, the first place in terms of investments is confidently occupied by Russia, which has invested 99 million euros in Montenegro in 12 months. It is followed by China with investments of 71 million euros and Switzerland with just over 63 million euros.

Total inflow foreign direct investment decreased by 14,8% compared to the same period, which is the result of falling investment in property, according to the Central Bank's bulletin.
