Montenegro's first exclusive One & Only hotel in a resort The Portons will receive its first guests on May 1. The grand opening is scheduled for March 21 and will be held in accordance with current epidemiological measures.
The total investment in the hotel, including infrastructure, amounted to more than 200 million euros.
This was announced by Tomislav Hrala, Director of Sales and Marketing at One & Only Resort in Portonovi. He also added that as a responsible company in light of the current epidemiological situation, they have adjusted the official launch of the hotel:
“The changes have taken place in the sense that we have decided to enter the so-called“ flexible ”opening phase. It includes visits by partners from travel agencies and the media to familiarize themselves with the offer and get to know One & Only Portonovi in person. Thus, it is better to present our proposal and promote Montenegro around the world. We will take advantage of this period for additional training of our staff, perfecting and perfecting every detail, so that on May 1, guests will take their breath away when we finally open the doors of the resort for them, ”said Hrala.
From May 1, the hotel will employ 222 employees who, according to Tomislav Hrala, are the “heart of the brand”.
Despite the poor epidemiological situation, the hotel does not register many cancellations. Most of the bookings come from the UK, USA, Austria and Germany, but there are also Montenegro, Russia and Serbia.
“Our guests are eager to come to Montenegro and experience the first One & Only resort in Europe. We are glad that, despite the epidemiological situation at the global level and the current state of tourism, people around the world show a great desire to travel and discover new destinations. In addition, we have taken concrete steps on our part to make it easier for guests to make their travel decisions, and we have introduced flexible rules and special offers around the world that adapt to the changes caused by the pandemic, ”explained Hrala.
The cost of one day of accommodation with breakfast in One & Only Portonovi starts at 495 euros. Includes access to the Chenot Espace spa, which includes a Finnish sauna, hammam, steam room and indoor pool. Five more pools are also available to guests. Villa guests have access to their private pools with massage services.
“In addition, One & Only Portonovi has its own state-of-the-art gym and offers free sports activities for guests, from daily yoga classes to bike or kayak rentals, guided jogging trails, and beach sports such as volleyball or soccer. And for those who travel with little ones, we offer entertainment activities in the KidsOnly club for children and the OneTribe club for teenagers, ”added Tomislav Hrala.
One & Only Portonovi Resort offers 123 rooms, from rooms overlooking the bay and the Portonovi area to exclusive apartments and private villas. There are also restaurants, recreation areas, a spa center and a tennis court on site.
