Air Astana opens direct flight to Montenegro

Air Astana opens a direct flight between Kazakhstan and Montenegro. State Secretary for Tourism of the Ministry of Economic Development Ivana Zhurovich met with the Director of Sales of the national Kazakh airline "Air Astana" Ismail Sekerbekov. The meeting took place during the MITT International Tourism Fair in Moscow. Following the meeting, Ivana Zhurovich and Ismail Sekerbekov announced that Air Astana would soon open direct flights to Podgorica and Tivat.

“According to the rules, he will submit a request to the competent authorities to obtain a permit, so Montenegro will soon be on the list of countries to which Air Astana can start flights,” the Ministry of Economic Development said.

According to them, the first flights can be expected in April, when the visa-free regime for citizens of Kazakhstan comes into force.

Recall that Montenegro announces an annual seasonal visa-free regime that allows citizens of the Russian Federation to stay in Montenegro without a visa from April 1 to October 31 (no more than 90 days within 180 days of this period). For citizens of Ukraine, this rule is valid throughout the entire calendar year.

Also, citizens of Kazakhstan, Belarus and Armenia during this period can stay in Montenegro without a visa for 30 days.
