Mass vaccination begins in Montenegro

Mass vaccination begins in Montenegro

On April 5, a mass vaccination began in Montenegro. The vaccine currently used is Vaxzevria (formerly AstraZeneca). Vaccination is available to all citizens of Montenegro, as well as to persons with a residence permit (residence permit or permanent residence).

The vaccine can be obtained in the building of the Music Center in Podgorica. There are chairs on the street so that you can not stand in line, they measure the temperature at the entrance and treat your hands. Then they look at the documents (residence permit) and send them to the doctor, who asks about the state of health, allergies, recent illnesses. After vaccination, they ask to sit on a chair for 15 minutes, give a document indicating when it will be necessary to come for revaccination.

Vaccinations are free of charge and are held from 8:00 to 20:00 on a first come, first served basis. It is expected that after April 20 it will be possible to vaccinate in other cities of Montenegro.
