New quarantine measures are in effect in Montenegro until April 16

From April 10 to April 16, new quarantine measures are in force in Montenegro. The new measures affected the rules of movement in all municipalities, now they are allowed. All parks, recreation and sports areas are also open. Measures have been softened in Ulcinj, Bijelo Polje, Cetinje and Bar. Shopping centers and gyms are open in these municipalities. The rest of the measures remain unchanged:

  1. The shops are open from 7:00 to 21:00.
  2. Curfew from 22:00 to 5:00. An exception is walking pets, but no more than 60 minutes a day.
  3. It is forbidden to leave your municipality on weekends.
  4. Guided tours, live music performances, children's playrooms, Ferris wheels and amusement parks are allowed.
  5. Educational institutions begin their regular work on April 12.
  6. Cruise ships are allowed to enter ports.
  7. Wearing masks outdoors and indoors is mandatory. 

Important: residents of the municipalities Niksic and Shavnik are prohibited from leaving the territory of their municipality without good reason.

Entry rules to Montenegro

Entry to Montenegro is allowed if there is a PCR test not older than 48 hours, or with a positive IgG antibody test not older than 30 days, or with proof vaccinated with a second dose at least seven days before entering Montenegro. These rules do not apply to travelers from Serbia, Kosovo, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Albania.

Over the past day, 232 new cases of coronavirus infection have been registered. 376 patients recovered. 11 people have died. The total number of currently active COVID-19 cases in Montenegro is 4.

Vaccination in Montenegro

Currently in Montenegro vaccinated more than 35 thousand people with one dose of the vaccine and almost 7 thousand - with two doses. This represents more than 6% of the country's population.
