A new pedestrian bridge opened in Podgorica

The Mayor of Podgorica, Ivan Vukovic, together with representatives of the Bemax company, officially opened a new pedestrian bridge over the Moraca River, which is part of the project for the construction of a wastewater collection and treatment system in Podgorica.

“We are about to build another bridge in our city and we are aware of the symbolic and functional significance of the bridges, so we are proud to celebrate this today. The pedestrian bridge is 125 m long and 6,5 m wide. It is also designed for cyclists and adapted for people with disabilities, ”stressed Vukovic, adding that now they intend to tackle landscape areas, but the bridge for 1 euros can already be used residents.

The Mayor also thanked Bemax for the completion of the work a few months before the deadline, Deputy Mayor Časlav Vesović, Director of the Water Supply and Sewerage Municipal Enterprise Philip Makrid, as well as the engineers at the construction site.
