Director of the tourism organization of Budva Maya Lieshevich reported that about 14 thousand tourists stay in hotels, and this at 2019 level of the year... More than 23 tourists stay in private accommodation, up 70 percent from 2019.

“As for the composition of the guests, most of the tourists come to Budva from Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, then from Ukraine and Russia. There are also guests from Kazakhstan, Israel, France, Turkey, ”said Maya Lieshevich.

She also said that the city is planning a series of events that will be organized in compliance with all epidemiological measures.

“We hope that the positive dynamics of tourists coming to our city will continue,” the director added.

Hotel owners are satisfied with the season and the flow of tourists

Public Relations Manager, Budva Riviera Elena Kaludzherovich reported last-minute offers this season, which contribute to the daily increasing the number of guests.

“We will be very pleased if the hotel is filled with such dynamics, which is at a satisfactory level. Our hotels have entered the market with very good offers, these are prices that were 15 percent lower compared to 2019, and in the next period we will continue the policy of lower prices compared to 2019, ”she emphasized.

Hotel Manager Avala Dusan Bechir also happy with the number of guests and the total capacity of the hotel.

“We have interesting preliminary statistics. In terms of the number of overnight stays, 2021 is several estimates higher than 2019. On the other hand, it is true that we set prices carefully, and in that sense, the total income was reduced. We hope this will be a very successful season, ”says Bechir.

He emphasizes that there were no tourists from Western Europe, but the number of tourists from Ukraine is increasing. In addition, tourists from Serbia and Israel predominate.

Cafe and restaurant owners are also doing well.

Owner of the Veluza company Luka Vuchkovic, which operates the Mozart restaurant, said the business has exceeded all expectations.

“We now have about 45% of turnover compared to 2019, which is an outstanding result for us. The guests are mainly from the region, there are Ukrainians and Russians. Prices are affordable both in hotels and restaurants. We hope that the epidemiological situation will be good and we will be able to prepare for the post-season, ”he said.

Vukovic notes that all epidemiological measures are observed in the cafe, there are disinfectants on the tables, the staff wears masks and they are all vaccinated.
