In the first six months of 2021, 99 were issued in Montenegro permissions for construction, which provides for the construction of only 324 housing units (houses and apartments), which is the lowest volume in the last ten years, according to the statistics department Monstate.
During the same period of 2020, 973 housing units were issued building permits and applications, up from one thousand to 1,6 thousand housing units in previous years.
Throughout 2019, the construction of 1580 housing units was approved, in 2018 - 2339 units, in 2017 - 4439 units, in 2016 - 3005 housing units.
