Porto Montenegro paid Tivat 2 million euros for Boka Place

The company Adriatic Marinas - Porto Montenegro contributed 2 euros to the account of the municipality of Tivat as a payment for the utilities of the building land of the complex Boka placecurrently under construction in Porto Montenegro.

On this occasion, as reported Investor edition, the leaders of the municipality held a press conference at which they presented details about a new way of cooperation between the city and a large foreign investor, who last paid for utilities in Tivat back in 2012.

Mayor Zeljko Komnenovic, who in recent days intensively negotiated utility bills for Boca Place with Sheikh Mohamed Al Shaybani, President of ICD Corporation from Dubai, which owns Porto Montenegro, expressed his satisfaction with the agreements reached and the payment of money for the construction of a new elite complex worth more than 100 million Euro.

Porto Montenegro payment made changes to Tivat's budget

Tivat's leaders said that with this payment, the municipality's total expected utility revenue for 2021 has grown by more than 100 percent compared to the plan. Total budget revenues are currently at 87,33% of the annual plan, and, according to Finance Minister Jovan Brinich, at the end of September amounted to 14 798 226 euros.

“This is significantly better than in previous years, when budget implementation at the end of the third quarter was usually at the level of 65-67%. For example, last year the total revenue from utilities and property taxes at the end of the third quarter was 4,63 million, and this year on the same basis over the same period we have an income of more than 8 million euros. Therefore, a decision will be made to rebalance the budget, which will be increased to just over 20 million euros - about three million more than the current budget, ”Brinich said.
