Montenegro is expecting a sharp jump in coffee prices

In October, coffee prices in Montenegro will rise significantly. The main reason for this rise in prices - a sharp increase in the price of coffee beans in the world market, because the crop in Brazil this year was destroyed by freezing temperatures, as reported CDM.

The owner of the Mokamard company, which produces MMS and KOPA coffee, Dragan Markovic, said that Montenegro expects a sharp increase in coffee prices.

“In addition to the price of coffee beans, everything related to coffee has risen in price - packaging, raw materials, gas and oil. Over the past three to four months, prices for all of the above have increased significantly, ”Markovic emphasizes.

He notes that 10-15 days ago they raised the price of MMS coffee and reports that KOPA will rise in price in the coming days.

“The overall rise in prices will be significant. In the current situation, the price of 100 grams of coffee will probably reach one euro, ”the entrepreneur notes.
