Montenegro introduced mandatory presence of a covid certificate for visiting children's playrooms, religious sites, gyms, cinemas, theaters, concert halls.
These same restrictions continue to apply to indoor and outdoor dining, concert and sporting events.
However, the implementation of the national digital covid certificate in public administration has been postponed until the Ministry of Justice makes a clear statement on the legal basis for such a possible solution, Minister of Health Elena Borovinich Bojovich said at a press conference today.
“On this occasion, next week, a meeting will be organized at the Ministry of Justice, to which the Ombudsman Sinisa Bjekovic and the representative of Montenegro at the European Court of Human Rights Valentina Pavlicic will be invited,” the minister said.
He notes that on the initiative of the Ministry of Health, weekly meetings are held with representatives of the Ministry of Justice, the Ministry of Defense, the Inspection Department and the Police Department.
“We asked the Ministry of Public Administration to conduct an anonymous survey to find out the exact coverage of immunized people in public administration, in order to reach those who are still thinking about vaccination, because the plan is to organize targeted immunization for those who are interested. Public administration should be an example, ”said Borovinich Bojovich.
At the moment, complete vaccination passed about 85% of the total number of employees of the Ministry of Health.
Montenegrin government slackens quarantine measures for New Year holidays
During the Christmas holidays on December 24 and 25, as well as on New Year's Eve on December 31 and January 1 and January 6 - 7, there is no restriction on restaurants until midnight.
During this period, live music is allowed, both in restaurants and on the street, but at the same time, all visitors and employees in the premises of the restaurants must have covid certificates.
