The cost of tickets is planned in the range from 10 to 18 euros. Students will pay the cheapest ticket of 10 euros, 14 euros for the local population, and 18 euros for tourists.

The draft contract states that the concession is for 30 years, the minimum investment is 24 million, and the concession fee is 15 percent of the net profit.

"Of the planned 79,6 million euros, 15,2 million relates to concession fees, income tax 7,7 million, the net effect of VAT is projected at 33,3 million, and 23,4 million are taxes and deductions on wages." , - Novi-Volvox told the publication News.

The tender for the concession for the construction of the cable car was announced on June 6 last year by the former Ministry of Tourism and Sustainable Development, and a consortium of Podgorica and Italian companies was the sole bidder. The previous government failed to complete this work, so the new Ministry of Economic Development (MED) continued negotiations with the only bidder, which were completed earlier this week.

The location of the concession for the construction of the Kotor - Lovcen cable car is determined by the Special Territorial Plan of the Lovcen National Park. The concession provided for this project is 30 years from the date the preconditions stipulated in the draft concession agreement are met. This period includes the period of time required for the construction of the cable car, which is estimated at one year, as well as the period of operation of the remaining 29 years.

The new Volvox explained that they were working on three scenarios that showed the feasibility of investing in this project and related to the number of passengers carried.

“The first scenario is a baseline forecast, which means that in the first year of operation of the cable car we will carry 400 thousand passengers, and in the 10th year - 600 thousand passengers. The second scenario assumes the transport of 325 passengers in the first year and 000 passengers in the 400th year. The third scenario, also the worst one, assumes 000 thousand passengers in the first year and 10 thousand in the 275th year, ”the company explained.

The future concessionaire was offering, they said, a minimum of five percent of the annual turnover, plus a difference of 15 percent of the annual profit. In addition, one percent of the annual turnover will be donated to sponsorships and donations.

Upon expiration of the lease term, the object and all related objects become the property of the state.
