According to Monstate, the average net salary in Montenegro in February 2022 was 706 euros, while the gross was 875 euros.

According to these data, the average net profit for February increased by 2,9% compared to the previous month, and compared to the same month last year, they increased by 33,5%.

“If we keep in mind that consumer prices in February 2022 compared to January 2022 recorded an increase of 1,5%, it follows that real wages for the same period recorded an increase of 1,4%,” Monstat said.

According to more detailed data, only in three municipalities wages were above average in February: in Tivat - 869 euros, Podgorica - 741 and Pljevlja - 712.

In all other municipalities, February salaries were lower than the national average.

In Bijelo Polje, the average net salary for February was 607 euros, Gusinje - 612, Andrijevitsa - 616, Mojkovac - 617, Tuzi - 619, Plava - 656, Pluzhine - 657, Rozaje - 621, Danilovgrad - 622, Shavnik - 635 Herceg - Novi - 661, Berane - 662, Niksic - 674, Kolasin - 676, Zabljak - 679, Bar - 682, Budva - 683.

In Kotor, the average salary in February was 700 euros, and in Cetinje - 701 euros.
