According to the employment service of Montenegro (ZZZCG), the unemployment rate in the country decreased: at the end of April 2022, there were 50,55 thousand unemployed, which is 5,3 percent less than in March of the same year.
According to the service's monthly report, the unemployment rate fell from 23,02 percent to 21,79 percent. The highest rate, 32,7 percent, was recorded in July 2000, and the lowest in August 2009, 10,1 percent.
From the beginning of the year to the end of April, 5,58 thousand people were registered. And from the beginning of the year until the end of last month, 10,68 thousand vacancies were announced.
