Digital nomads will be exempt from income tax in Montenegro

At the next meeting, the Government of Montenegro approved a bill on amendments to the Income Tax Law tax from individuals, exempting certain categories of citizens from paying income tax.

Agron Ibrahimi, secretary of state at the Ministry of Finance, said the amendments to the law provide that self-employed persons, i.e. digital nomads, will be exempted from paying this tax. In addition, they will be exempted from paying the mandatory social contribution.
