Established a year ago by Elektroprivreda (EPCG) for a solar panel installation project, the company said it plans to complete the Solari 3000+ project by early next year.
“To date, 578 solar power plants have been installed in homes and 67 in businesses. Most of the installed power plants are currently located in Niksic and Podgorica, and they have also been installed in other municipalities in the north and south. It is planned that all three thousand panels will be installed by the beginning, and at the latest by the middle of next year, which will depend on weather conditions and other practical factors that are crucial for the speed of installation,” said the company, headed by Ranko Vuksanovic.
They added that the total capacity of the installed solar power plants is 5,6 megawatts (MW), and the total capacity at the end of the project will be 30 MW.
Regarding the Solari 10,000+ project, Solar gradnja said that a feasibility study and a design concept have been submitted to the government to secure money for its implementation through European Union (EU) funds, while the project is expected to be implemented in the middle or the end of next year.
In the news, representatives of this company were asked if the implementation of the conceptual and technical design and feasibility study of the Solari 5000+ project was completed and how far the process of obtaining EU money for the Solari 10000+ project had come.
“The implementation of these activities is still ongoing. We look forward to the rapid completion of project documentation in order to start these projects,” EPCG said.
Before the end of the year, the 5000+ project will publish a public appeal for citizens and the economy, and implementation will begin in a few months. When asked how many solar panels they had already bought, the company replied that all the necessary equipment had been purchased for the 3000+ project, and for the next projects (5000+ and 10000+), the public procurement procedure would be initiated after the completion of the necessary design and administrative documentation.
