China will donate more than seven million euros to Montenegro for the reconstruction of the Djurdjevic Bridge on the Tara River, which is one of the country's most important tourist attractions, according to China Radio International online.
“Based on the interest shown by the Chinese side in the willingness to donate funds for the reconstruction of the Durdjevic Bridge, which is a tourist and architectural attraction and was built in the period from 1938 to 1940, the Government of Montenegro gratefully acknowledges this participation,” the Montenegrin side said.
The information released by the government of Montenegro states that the estimated cost of the donation and costs is around seven million euros, and that the reconstruction plan should be implemented by the end of 2021.
