In Montenegro, the increase in unemployment was felt most of all by trade and construction

At the end of December 2020, 160 employees were registered in Montenegro, which is 978 people less than in the same month of 37, when there were 588 people. Such data are presented in the report of the statistical office Monstat.

Statistics show that the largest reduction in the number of employees was recorded in the sector “wholesale and retail trade, car and motorcycle repair”, where the number of employees fell by 7 people.

It is followed by the “administrative support” sector, where the number of employees is 5 fewer, and then construction, where at the end of 164 there were 2019 more people than at the end of 4771.
