The average salary in January 2021 in Montenegro was 791 euros (gross), and the average salary without taxes and contributions (net) was 530 euros, according to the statistical office Monstat.
The average (net) salary in January 2021 compared to December 2020 increased by 0,6 percent, and the average (net) salary in January 2021 compared to the same month of the previous year increased by 1,1 percent.
Statistics indicate that if we take into account that consumer prices in January 2021 increased by 0,3 percent compared to December last year, it follows that real wages for the same period increased by 0,3 percent.
