Montenegrin authorities agree to reduce interest on Chinese loan

The government of Montenegro has successfully completed a deal that lowered the interest rate on the loan before Chinese Exim Bank and saved eight million euros annually, said Minister of Finance and Social Security Milojko Spajic.

The minister explained that with the help of this agreement, it was possible to reduce the interest rate on debt to the Chinese Exim Bank from 0,88 percent in dollars to XNUMX percent in euros.

“This is an agreement with banks, in which we cut interest rates, and the lender is still the Chinese Exim Bank, but there were two American and one French involved in the deal,” Spaich said, adding that these are the world's most famous banks.
