The International Monetary Fund predicts that economy of Montenegro will grow by six percent in 2022.
“Growth recovery is expected in 2021 and 2022 at 12% and 6% respectively, which will be primarily stimulated by the normalization of tourism,” - says the new report of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) on Montenegro.
“Strong growth momentum is expected to continue in 2022, but production is expected to remain below the pre-pandemic trend over the medium term,” the report says. IMF.
The IMF says that the epidemic has hit the economy hard, but there is an active recovery.
